(Washington, DC) – Today, Mobile Future announced the winners of the national mobile innovation competition, The Mobileys. The Mobileys helps to shine a spotlight on early-stage wireless innovations designed to make the world a better place. Applications for The Mobileys came from innovators across the nation, all who are using mobile in ways that could change the world: An app that amplifies the performance and effectiveness of first responders. An interface that makes driving safer and drivers less distracted. An early learning mobile app for young children developed by top literacy experts.

Mobile Future Kicks Off “People’s Choice Award” for The Mobileys Competition and Page Out is a Finalist!

(Washington, DC) – Today, Mobile Future announced the ten finalists in their national mobile innovation competition, The Mobileys. These dynamic innovations now vie for the title of the People’s Choice, an award given to the finalist who garners the most online votes at The Mobileys website- www.themobileys.com. Voting opened today and the winner stands to earn $2,500 on top of the three podium prizes, awarded by Mobile Future’s panel of judges, which come with checks of $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500. Voting closes on December 6, 2013 and final results will be announced on December 11, 2013 in Washington, DC.

Page-Out app adds employee to focus on sales

Page-Out LLC partners Stephen Owens and Carlos Fernandez Jr. have added an employee to help them grow their on-call staffing management app. Jeremy Ashby, a Harvey County volunteer firefighter and former district manager for Premium Wireless, will be Page-Out’s sales manager and customer support specialist. The firm says he will focus on sales team leadership, driving revenue and other management duties.
